“I was raised in a poor farming family in Andhra Pradesh, where I witnessed the many hardships of everyday life from an early age. My parents were often caught between the need to earn a livelihood and my aspiration for a good education. 

Through hard work, I moved from my village to cities across India and later to the USA in pursuit of higher education, eventually building a career as a scientist. This journey from rural roots to urban environments gave me the opportunity to view society from multiple perspectives, experiencing both the challenges of underserved communities and the lavishness of city life. 

Deeply moved by these experiences, I began working with migrants and marginalized populations to support their access to education, skills, and sustainable livelihoods. In 2016, with the encouragement of many like-minded individuals, I chose to step away from my scientific career and dedicate myself fully to social service. 

Today, through Amar Saath Foundation, we reach diverse marginalized communities across India, including migrants, tribal populations, and families living in urban slums, striving to serve them with dignity, care, and meaningful opportunities.”
