Dr. Sudhakar Muthyala

Founder & President (Former-Scientist)

Dr. Sudhakar Muthyala, trained as scientist and teacher, is currently serving as a philanthropist. He was raised in a farming family in Andhra Pradesh, India. Through his hard work and support from well-wishers, he has completed Ph.D. in biomedical science and further served as a research faculty at Georgia Tech University, USA. During his journey from a village to an urban city, he witnessed life from different angles, facing struggles of the village life and the lavishness of the city life. Moved by his own experience, he started to work among migrants and marginalized people and in 2016, he left his career to dedicate completely into social activities.

Dr. Manitha B Nair

Founder & Treasurer (Scientist)

Dr. Manitha Nair is a scientist in regenerative medicine with over a decade of experience, working at Rice University and Georgia Tech University, USA. At present, she serves as a professor at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi, India. Dr. Nair believes that the purpose of her life is to serve others, so she is active in addressing issues related to orphan children and marginalized people in society. She plays a significant role in nurturing new ideas and operationalizing Amar Saath. Dr. Nair is also the Co-founder of Butterfly Cancer Care Foundation, an organization that stand for cancer affected kids. She is the recipient of prestigious Innovative young biotechnology award and Young scientist award.

Dan Paul Thomas

Co-Founder & Secretary (Entrepreneur)

Mr. Dan Paul Thomas (MBA), an Entrepreneur, dedicated his life to empowering young people and families from vulnerable backgrounds. As a Director of Company Blossom Inners, Dan spearheads a transformative mission that impacts over 800 individuals and families.

Dr. Steive George

Programme Manager (Sr. Consultant)

Dr. Steive George, after finishing MBBS in Kerala, did a diploma in Family medicine and MS in ENT from Christian Medical College, India. He also undertook a palliative care course from Cardiff University, Wales. He has worked in mission hospitals in different parts of India for 10 years and can rightly feel the pulse of the poor and the marginalized in the society. He is currently working as a family physician in Kochi and leading Amar Ayush programme.

Nalini Gopalakrishnan

Programme Manager (Retd. Officer )

Mrs. Nalini, a retired officer, is interested in promoting education among underprivileged children. She has volunteered with many organizations that work among children in slums and tribal areas. At Amar Saath, she leads Amar Jyothi programme.

Denny Varghese

Programme Manager (Software Engineer)

Mr. Denny Varghese, a software engineer by profession, is passionate about serving people. He leads the Amar Yuva program, dedicated to empowering youth through education and skill-building initiatives.

Dr. Riya Mathew

Executive Member (Consultant)

Dr. Riya Mathew is a public health physician who currently works at Believers Church Medical College Hospital and the National Resource Centre for Non-Communicable Diseases. She has training from various national and international institutions such as Christian Medical College, Vellore, Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel and Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Her vision is to reduce health-related disparities and empower people to recognize health as a fundamental resource for everyday life.
